Fee Truth — privacy policy

What the extension does with your data

Nothing leaves your browser except the one request described below. The extension reads the price text already visible on the page you are viewing, does arithmetic on it locally, and shows the result in a panel. It does not read, store, transmit or sell your browsing history, your marketplace account, your customers' data, or anything else.

What is stored, and where

Your fee settings — percentages, flat fees, item cost and shipping cost — are stored in Chrome's own synced storage for your profile, so they follow you between your own devices. They are not sent to us and we cannot read them.

The one network request

If you paste a licence key and press Verify, the extension sends that key to Gumroad's public licence endpoint (api.gumroad.com) to check whether it is valid. That is the only outbound request the extension makes, and it happens only when you press that button.

Permissions and why

storage — to remember your fee settings. activeTab — to read the price on the page you are looking at, only when the extension runs. Host access is limited to the marketplace domains the extension supports so it can read a price on a listing page.

No accounts, no analytics, no ads

There is no sign-up, no tracking pixel, no third-party analytics and no advertising of any kind in the extension.
