Target-margin pricer: the price a margin actually costs
Most calculators start from a price and tell you the margin. This starts from the margin you want and tells you the price — across the fees the shelf charges, including the fixed ones that break cheap listings.
Priced on margin of the selling price, not markup on cost. Percentage and fixed fees are a starting point from published rates checked November 2026; replace them with what your own statements show. Fixed fees hurt cheap items most: the same US$0.45 is 1.3% of a US$35 sale and 7.5% of a US$6 one.
The same margin, at four round prices
The exact price is rarely the price you charge. Here is what the margin becomes if you round up or down — so you can see whether the round number still clears your target.
| Price you charge | Fees | You keep | Margin |

The one number sellers skip
The percentage fee and the margin are both charged on the price, so they compound. The fixed fee does not — it sits under the price and has to be earned before the percentages even start. That is why the price a margin needs rises faster than the margin itself, and why a cheap listing can look profitable at 40% margin and still lose money after the fixed line.
Knowing the fee is step one; knowing which of your products is quietly losing money is the part that changes the month. Or run one export free, no signup.

Etsy, Amazon, Walmart and TikTok change their fee tables without announcing it, and the Canadian tax deadlines move. I check and send one short email when something real changes. No sequence, no selling you something every Tuesday.
