Free marketplace profit tracker — Sheets-ready, one row per order
A monthly total hides the listings that lose money. This is the simplest thing that shows it: one row per order, the fees split from the costs, and the net profit and margin worked out. Plain CSV, no macros, no signup, no account.

Comes with three worked example rows so you can check your own arithmetic against a known one before you trust it with your orders.
The columns
| Column | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Order ID | Whatever your export calls it, so a row can be traced back |
| Date | The sale date |
| Marketplace | Which shelf took the fee |
| Item price | What the buyer paid for the item |
| Shipping paid by buyer | Postage the buyer was charged — it is inside the fee base on Etsy, eBay, Walmart and TikTok Shop |
| Fee % | The percentage your shelf charges, as a number: 10 for 10% |
| Fixed fee | The listing, per-order and processing cents that do not scale with price |
| Total fees | Calculated |
| Cost of goods | Landed cost of the item |
| Shipping you paid | The label, not the buyer's shipping charge |
| Net profit | Calculated |
| Margin % | Calculated |
Make it calculate (three formulas)
The CSV carries example values. To make the sheet calculate for you, paste these into the first data row (row 2) and drag down. Columns are lettered A to L in the order above.
H2 =(D2+E2)*F2/100 + G2
K2 =D2+E2 - H2 - I2 - J2
L2 =IF((D2+E2)=0, "", K2/(D2+E2)*100)
Then a summary anywhere below — total profit and average margin:
=SUM(K2:K1000)
=AVERAGE(L2:L1000)
What the example rows show
Same shape of order, three shelves, three different answers. The Etsy Canada row charges the buyer US$7 of shipping, so the fee base is US$52.00: fees come to US$5.65 and the order keeps US$23.35, a 44.9% margin. The eBay US row is a US$30.00 order at 13.6% plus US$0.40, keeping US$14.52 at 48.4%. The Amazon FBM row is US$25.00 at 15% with no fixed fee, keeping US$8.05 at 32.2% — the cheapest order and the thinnest margin, which is the thing a monthly total would have hidden.
Margin Guard reads your existing orders export — Etsy, Amazon, eBay or Shopify — and maps the columns for you. Run one export free, no signup.
Also free and worth doing first: work out what price a target margin needs, what a discount must sell to pay off, and what a return really costs.
LAUNCH40 takes 40% off while the first 25 codes last.
Etsy, Amazon, Walmart and TikTok change their fee tables without announcing it, and the Canadian tax deadlines move. I check and send one short email when something real changes. No sequence, no selling you something every Tuesday.
